Our Mission
We are dedicated to reducing plastic production and its harmful environmental impacts. We educate, advocate for policy change, promote sustainable practices, and raise awareness about plastic pollution. Our goal is to reduce single-use plastics, encourage alternatives, and unite businesses, governments, and communities to build a more sustainable future for Minnesota.
Our Coalition
The Coalition for Plastic Reduction MN was formed in 2022 and brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds, ages, professions, and expertise, including environmental advocates, scientists, business owners, community leaders, professionals, and everyday citizens. We are united by a common goal — to create a sustainable future by tackling the plastic crisis.
We believe that every action, no matter how small, can make a difference. By collaborating, raising awareness, and driving change, we are working together to reduce plastic consumption, promote alternatives, and support policies that protect our state and planet.
Together, we are stronger, and together, we will work toward a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Minnesota.
Our Partners
We believe that making Minnesota a healthier place for our families, communities, and businesses requires collaboration and shared purpose. We work alongside like-minded organizations such as Clean Water Action MN, Beyond Plastics, the MN Zero Waste Coalition, Sierra Club North Star Chapter, Zero Waste Mankato Lake Crystal North Mankato, Beyond Plastics Greater Mankato Area and Eureka Recycling to create lasting change. Together, we advocate for cleaner water, reduced plastic use, and sustainable practices that protect both our environment and the health. By combining our efforts, we push for policies and initiatives that reduce plastic waste, promote responsible consumption, and foster a cleaner, healthier future for everyone.
